Beru Vesuri, a thief who dared steal from the Duke of Deshaan

Beru Vesuri is a Dark Elf pauper and captured thief, who has languished in the Legion dungeons ever since she was caught attempting to filch from the Duke of Deshaan's chambers. The Duke has since fallen in love with her, a fact Beru despairs at, and plies her with gifts to win her affection. She will ask you to assist her in escaping, as part of The Exiled Duke's Affair, and will reward you with Beru's Amulet, a piece of jewelry that fortifies personality by 20 pts - perhaps explaining her predicament in the first place.

She seems to have a friend in Old Ebonheart - Raleth, who will reward you in the event of her successful escape.

She wears an extravagant shirt, an extravagant skirt, a pair of expensive shoes, an expensive ring, and an exquisite ring.

Aside from her natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by her ancestors, she knows no spells.

The only owned objects in her cell are 2 locked small chests (75) with 14 random gems in total. There is also an extravagant ring on the small bookshelf in the corner.

The Duke ordered the guards to put me here and then kept showering me with gifts that are supposed to show his affection. He says he loves me, but I find it hard to believe when I'm being kept in this cell like some pet animal."
