Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Speak to Neras Hardil in the Andothren Guild of Fighters, about orders and Molsa Ervethi.
- Travel to Bodrum and find Molsa Ervethi.
- (Optional) Confront the one-eyed Dunmer at the bar.
- Report back to Neras Hardil.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Another bounty has been placed - this time on a ex-Hlaalu named Molsa Ervethi who was caught selling House Hlaalu secrets to House Redoran. Neras orders you to go to Redoran-run Bodrum and kill her. Bodrum is most easily accessed using the silt strider from Andothren, via a change in Omaynis. Once there, ask around the tradehouse about Molsa Ervethi, and you'll quickly be directed to Tuls Varalaryn, who has all the details. He'll note that you're not the first to come asking, and (if he has 65+ disposition towards you) will give you the key to her room. You can otherwise bypass the level 30 lock via more illicit means.
Entering the room will trigger a journal update, as the corpse of Molsa Ervethi is lying on the floor there. You can at this point return straight to Andothren to report in to Neras Hardil, and either note that the death was not by your hand (for 150 gold), or lie and claim it was (for 1,000 gold). However, you may wish to uncover the true name of her killer. To do this, ask the patrons of the tavern about Molsa Ervethi. They'll make mention of a one-eyed Dunmer still present in the tradehouse, who was seen entering her room. Look for him in the bar (it's on the middle floor, below Tuls Varalaryn). It's an old acquaintance from Dreth's Bounty - Jubal Orda. He'll freely admit to the killing if challenged on it, and will take a disposition hit towards you. The conversation will at least allow you to name the killer to Neras Hardil if you so desire, although this brings no additional reward.
- This quest used to be named Molsa Ervethi's Bounty.

I told Jubal Orda that even though he killed Molsa Ervethi he won't be getting any reward because he's not a member of the Fighters Guild. He dismissed this by telling me he'd go directly to councilman Tholer Andas for the reward. I should return to Andothren and speak with Neras Hardil. |

I refused to believe that Jubal Orda had killed Molsa Ervethi. I should return to Andothren and speak with Neras Hardil. |

I told Jubal Orda that Molsa Ervethi's bounty is mine and warned him to back off. I should return to Andothren and speak with Neras Hardil. |

I told Neras Hardil that Molsa Ervethi was already dead when I found her. Neras Hardil thanked me for being honest with him. Hardil said he'd write to Tholer Andas and explain the situation. It is likely that the Guild won't be paid for this contract. Hardil paid me a modest sum of gold, nonetheless. |
