Favryn

Favryn is a Dark Elf warrior found within Akamora's finest tavern, The Laughing Goblin. Abandoned as a babe on the steps of a chapel in Bruma, he has spent much of his life as a mercenary in Skyrim before moving to Morrowind in the hope of finding friendly surroundings. He has been disappointed in this hope, and in realizing the connection that native Dunmer hold to their ancestors, has developed a desire to find out more about his own. His initial enquiries on the subject at the Temple resulted in an unpleasant disagreement with one of the priests there, Ilmeni Bendalos, and so he will ask you to carry on the search as somebody who can enter unchallenged.

Assuming that you do not follow the instructions of a disgruntled Ilmeni and sabotage the ritual, another priest named Gilas Indalor will successfully summon the spirit of one of Favryn's ancestors, revealing the mer to be Favryn Dareleth. It's a name that Favryn is very happy with, declaring that it has a nice ring to it.
