Hautharmo in his sanctum at Malarnubi

"There is a crusader of Stendarr who is trying to locate my sanctum. He is a weakling like you, but if I kill him here, others of his irksome order will come looking for him. I do not care for such disturbances. My task for you is to kill him."

Hautharmo is a lich who resides in the grotto of Malarnubi, in Aanthirin. He appears to seek solitude in order to pursue his studies, and the presence of numerous corpses in and around the grotto attest to the ends of previous interruptions.

On entering his grotto, you will be tasked with putting an end to an inquiring crusader, Oirdo Malamartle at the Pyr-Ilu Lookout. You may choose to side with either lich or crusader, as part of the quest The Death of Oirdo Malamartle.

As with Sabine Valtienne, another of Tamriel Rebuilt's liches, Hautharmo can only be truly destroyed if his phylactery is found and broken. Hautharmo's phylactery can be found at the bottom of the pool outside his sanctum.
