Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Rilmas Athyrion resides in the topmost chamber of the Telvanni tower in Marog. He will be deeply nonplussed by Francine's guilt, and will note that she does not seem to have understood what the Telvanni are about - forging your own path to magical mastery - but that she seems to have set off down this path all the same, in leaving Marog.

Francine Aldard told me how she had left her former Telvanni mentor, Rilmas Athyrion of Tel Onoria, as she was finding herself unaccepted and unwelcome in Marog. Out of a sense of guilt, and possibly afraid of his anger, she has asked me to deliver a letter of apology to her betrayed master. Francine has handed me some levitation potions, presumably since Rilmas Athyrion is not reachable by foot. |

Confronted with Francine's letter, Rilmas Athyrion was not at all angered; it seems he stopped short of lauding her for leaving him alone. Francine's feeling of guilt was not warranted. |

Finishes quest |
Francine was surprised, but nonetheless relieved, to hear of Master Athyrion's indifferent reaction to her desertion. For all the time she had spent with the Telvanni, she seems not to have grasped their essence too well. I was rewarded with some scrolls of her making. |
