Your continued obsession with the genealogy of your ancestors to the neglect of all else has made my work here nigh impossible.

When you insisted Scrib jelly was to be your only meal, I acquiesced thinking it little more than a health craze and cleared the plates you left throughout the manor. When you began collecting histories to research your ancestors, I thought it piety and did not complain about the stacks of books left on the floor. Recently however, your relentless pursuit appears more like a sickness and rumors are starting to spread in town.

Last night you berated me for putting away the jumbled collection of papers, pins, and thread you had left on one of the rugs. Since you are so bent on becoming a pariah, refuse to see a healer, and will not even let me perform my tasks anymore, the time has come for us to part ways.

I hereby leave you this letter to serve as a token of my resignation.
