Shalath Abkala

Shalath Abkala is a Dark Elf necromancer found in the lava-filled caverns beneath Mount Sarrunabi, the volcano that looms over the city of Firewatch. Shalath has a similar overbearing presence in the minds of those who remember how she raised the corpses of those legionaries who fell in the Battle of the Inner Sea, stealing the bodies of the fallen from those who had loved and lost them.

Both Tarom of the Imperial Cult and Banvira Auctoria of the Mages Guild seek Shalath's death for what she has done, and will send you to accomplish the deed. The necromancer herself is long past diplomacy, and will engage in combat on sight - along with her undead army.

She wears an extravagant robe, a common shirt, and a pair of common pants. She carries a skull, a clay flask, and a stoneware cup.
