Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Take (and read) the Letter to Sadryn from the corpse of the pilgrim south of Hlan Oek.
- Travel to the Infirmary of St. Meris on Almas Thirr's western bridge.
- Speak to Taris Varam about letter to Sadryn and either:
- Entrust it into his care.
- Insist on giving the letter to Sadryn Seles yourself, and then either:
- Read the letter to Sadryn without pretenses.
- Pose as his loved one, Riina.
- Pose as his loved one, Saveri (can only succeed if female Dunmer with 45+ Luck).
- The 23.10 version of the mod contains a bug where posing as Saveri will result in your journal listing your deceit as successful, even if it is not.
- Various people in Hlan Oek will point you in the direction of Veloth's Path if asked about the letter, while Gadave Darys on the road just west of the city will point you directly to the Infirmary, having been the one who brought Sadryn there.
- Taris will cast Cure Common Disease on you without charge whenever spoken to about the letter after completion of this quest.
- Reading the letter without assuming an identity will see Sadryn reward you with 100 gold and the Seles Family Crest. Assuming an identity (whether Sadryn believes you or not) will give you no material reward, unless you take the crest and 150 gold from his corpse.
- Entrusting the letter to Taris will net you a separate reward (a Quality Restore Health potion, a Standard Restore Fatigue potion, 2x Bread)

After arriving at the Infirmary of St Meris, I spoke with the priest there. He believed with confidence that the pilgrim Sadryn is in his care. He offered to deliver and read the letter to Sadryn himself, but I assured the priest that the task was mine. |

After arriving at the Infirmary of St Meris, I spoke with the priest there. He believed with confidence that Sadryn was one of the pilgrims in his care. The priest assured me the letter to Sadryn would be delivered and read to its recipient, so I handed it off. In return for completing this task, the priest provided me with some supplies. |

I was able to convince the old man that I was the daughter mentioned in the letter. However, the excitment of reuniting with her was too much for him. He passed away with one hand outstretched and the other clenching the amulet around his neck. |
