User Space[edit]
I'm not that knowledgeable on Templates, but should the first instance of {{SUBJECTSPACE}} actually be a {{NS_PARENT}} for Sandboxes and the like? --Robin Hood (Talk • E-mail • Contribs) 00:20, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
- The reason I ask is because in a Sandbox on my user page, I get no output at all, and it looks like it's at least intended to put the number in. --Robin Hood (Talk • E-mail • Contribs) 12:00, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
- No, it was set up to do nothing at all in the User namespace -- and changing how it identifies the namespace wouldn't have made any difference. Really the only thing that should be disabled in the User namespace is the categories, but with the way the template is currently set up, trying to disable only the categories would be incredibly painful. For now, I at least changed it so that it simply prints out the number in the User namespace. --NepheleTalk 12:16, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
- Yeah, Rpeh explained the logic I was misunderstanding. Odd, though...or very intelligent of the wiki software...I'm not sure which: you and I made the same changes at the same time, yet I never got an edit conflict warning and only yours showed up. --Robin Hood (Talk • E-mail • Contribs) 12:16, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
