Elder Scrolls Online Announces Fallen Banners and Update 45 for new Season — January 13, 2025

The next DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, titled Fallen Banners, has been revealed. Announced during an ESO Live stream, Fallen Banners is the first dungeon DLC of 2025's new seasonal releases, and will be released with Update 45. The DLC adds two new dungeons: Exiled Redoubt, the stronghold of the once-proud House Albus, where Lucilla Caprenia seeks to stop a plot that threatens to drive Cyrodiil into endless war; and Lep Seclusa, a Moth Priest sanctuary currently besieged by former Emperor Orpheon the Tactician and his army of deserters, who seek the Moth Priests' precious relic. The Update 45 base game patch includes refreshed starter zones, features for the Cyrodiil Champions Test campaign, and a host of quality-of-life improvements, including improvements to Craft (green) Champion Points!

Fallen Banners and Update 45 are now available for testing on the Public Test Server as of January 13. Unusually, an ESO Plus subscription will be required to play Fallen Banners on PC/Mac at launch. It will be available for individual purchase with Crowns on all platforms once it releases on consoles.
