  • ESO (and DOOM Eternal) will receive FREE upgrades to the next generation of consoles for people who owned the game on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
  • The availability of this upgrade is yet to be determined.
  • For owners of the physical versions of ESO on console, if you get the digital only version of the new consoles, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UPGRADE.
  • Likewise, if you decide to switch consoles (going from an Xbox One to PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 to Xbox Series X), you will not be able to upgrade.
  • The physical disc will be required to start the game on the next generation of consoles, if you do not have a digital copy.
  • The upgrade does not have a set time limit at this time, although their wording implies that a time limit could eventually be set.
• Lengthy maintenance on PS4 European server due to a network issue with the datacenter.
• Unexpected event showed up this weekend - Explorer’s Celebration! No Event Tickets, double drops from harvest nodes, double XP, double gold. Runs until 10am EST / 3pm GMT on Monday 16th.

• We suspect this event was thrown in to placate players annoyed by bugs in the Markarth patch :D

• ESO Live Friday Nov 13
  • Announced bug fixes will be coming Monday for PC/Mac/Stadia
  • 4 pages of patch notes for this incremental patch

• Crown Store
  • If you’re listening live, you have just a few hours to pick up the Fatal Fredas (Friday 13th) items of a Dire Pony pet (1200 Crowns) or Great Dark Stag mount (4000 Crowns). These items will leave the Crown Store at 10am EST / 3pm GMT on Monday, along with the Sovngarde Bear Cub Pet (1000 Crowns).
  • Four exciting limited-time items return next weekend, from November 19 to November 23.
    • The Elder Scrolls Artifact: Mehrunes' Razor. Likely cost 1200 Crowns.
    • Naryu's Morag Tong Costume.
    • Brassy Assassin personality.
    • The Furnishing Pack: Coldharbour Arcanaeum. Likely 5000 Crowns.
    • ESO Plus members will get a discount on the sword style, costume, and library pack.
  • New Houseguests have been added:
    • Acolyte Deras Arelas, a Tribunal acolyte. 800 Crowns.
    • Prince Irnskar, son of Jorunn the Skald-King. He has extra lines of dialogue. 2500 Crowns.

  • The micro gauntlet has been combined with the Mirror gauntlet!
    • Deck size is reduced to 30 cards for 2 attributes and 45 for 3 attribute
    • Decks can only contain 2 copies of non Unique cards
    • Left lane is the hall mirrors
      • If there’s no friendly creatures in a lane, you summon a copy of one when you summon

• Todd Howard mentioned in an interview that TESVI will have procedural generation, and a bunch of people freaked out over what that actually means. • The Ebony Plate Creation in the Creation Club for Skyrim is currently free. Get it before December 3rd.

Scholarly Pursuits

  • Farmed some nSS and nCR this week
    • One with HyperPixie, one with UESP after dark, and 1 Pug
  • Got a full set of False Gods finally
  • FINALLY GOT MY MAELSTROM INFERNO STAFF
• Doc
  • Enjoying Markarth console release
    • Farmed for the ring of the pale order(got it)
    • Can I have my house now?!?!
    • FINALLY completed the prologue quest for Markarth(Verandis is still so dreamy), and have started main story
    • I NEED the dwarven scarab pet!
    • The blue screen force is STRONG in this game. 😳

  • Playing some Markarth, not very far yet.

  • Finally maxed out the Scrying and Excavation lines on PC-NA and got the Master Antiquarian achievement. Very taken with the explorer costume you get.
  • Attempting to do the same on PC-EU, since I have gold leads on a timer ticking down!
  • Been enjoying the unexpected double XP and double gold from the Explorer’s Celebration! Used it to get my Argonian Warden Healer on PC-EU up to Level 50. Now just need to run enough Dungeons and Trials to get his Undaunted to Rank 5 for Important Healing Orbs. (Currently at Rank 4 110/200 thanks to friends from The Adventurers League staying up far too late to run with me).
