A bit "oldschool" design, but easy to use. Very much like other wiki's (and that's a good thing!)

A drop-down menu feature for the side bar links, more specifically the Sections links, (could) improve navigation and casual browsing. Just an opinion for improvement of an already well designed site.
A few bugs here and there. (forums)When trying to submit a quick reply while not logged in, the page basically just refreshes. No prompt to log in, no saving of the reply.
A few more pictures/screenshots wouldn't hurt, though...
A few pages can be difficult to find, but never any real problems.
A less dull, clunky and more streamlined overhaul of the site would be nice. Suggestions: Keep the use of Tables for easy reference, but maybe make the borders less obvious. Maybe spice them up with some scroll-work type borders that are slightly transparent. In general a more atmospheric and graphic feel to the site, instead of just the two-tone, black border tables. (Only if possible, of course, and not at the expence of speed or ease of use).

accesibility is amazing and everything is easy to find
Advertisements are controlled very well, and they don't use crazy showy graphics, so everything looks and feels nice and smooth.
After doing a specific search, e.g. 'Skyrim weapons', the top of search results are usually unrelated, which means that a person needs to look through a mass of results in order to find what they are looking for.

All links go some where useful and organization is organic and flows naturally.

Although I imagine it would speed up the load times, having such a basic theme and logo gets a little dull. However, the usability is great.
Although usually easy to use, once and a while I have to search for something I need.
Although, there was some transitional period a few months ago on the site where have the pages I would look at would be archived pages and there was a much less clear format.

As a visually impaired person, I find the UESP very easy to navigate which is rare for such sites.

as i stated above it is just great wikis couldn't even handle as well as this but the design overall i think should take a new form maybe a new dungeon and Renascence theme instead of this mm sortve parchment style (just an opinion but doesnt really make a difference)
As previously mentioned, it is extremely formal in composition, yet still hints its own unique style. The community is very helpful, and all aspects of the site are error-free and user friendly.
Average because mobile browser support is subpar. Desktop/laptop browsing is great, though.

Been on this site for years and still check in regularly.
Been using this since I started playing Morrowind a long, long while ago. The site has always been excellently navigable and I have been able to find what I need when I need it.

By far the easiest to use, most user-friendly, and in-depth wiki I have ever had the pleasure of using.

Categorization could be better. Especially on the lore pages. Alphabetical sorting can get cumbersome. Sorting by topics, relevance, etc. can be very helpful.
certain pages should follow templates. (ex: the Oblivion and Skyrim System Requirements pages are wildly different)
Choose of color is not really my taste, like that isn't black like the other wiki but white is prefered
Classy kind of design, something I miss in Skyrim's interface. I'm not one much for complaining about usability, but for example if you type in Weapons you get this massive list of every single enchanted weapon in the game in groups of 200 or something (just name text, no quick facts, images, etc.). That's about the only thing that bothers me about this site. Perhaps merge the discussion things with the actual topics, because personal experience is still knowledge.

Color is easy on the eyes, graphs are well organized, and spending hours looking at it doesn't hurt my eyes, unlike the black background of that *other* TES wiki.
Concidering what you have to work with, it's pretty good.
Content is organized in an easy to use manner. I can find everything needed in a few clicks.
Contents bar to the left of the site is very handy and I like how the adds are kept to the sides and away from the text.

Definitely above average. As a beginner, it's a little more difficult to get to a specific game-related page. Once I figured that out it was pretty easy.
Design I'm not too bothered about, usability is very helpful and easy to follow
design is a bit lacking, but again it's a wiki - not meant for fancy layouts, it's meant to host TONS of information... and this site does that!

Design: I love the design. It's nice and simple, easy on the eyes, and the light browny-gold background colour has that 'Elder Scroll' feel to it. Usability: It's really great to use. It's easy, the layout is great, very user friendly, no complaints at all!

Floating ads need to float at the bottom, not in the middle. Bounding boxes work great at 1080x720+ but are rubbish on mobile. Maybe there's an app I missed?
For smaller, more localized things it can be sometimes frustrating to locate.
For the most part, it's okay, with the possible exception of Hints-type or Useful Spell/Enchantment pages, which are often... too subjective/personal and require much cleanup.
For the record, I am not trying to suck up. I have been using this wiki for a long time and it is the best-desighned and easiest to use wiki I've ever seen.

I *love* UESP' design. Everything is incredibly easy to find, nicely organized categories are everywhere, and the aesthetics of the website itself are nice. My only concern is that the search function can be a little finicky, in that it requires exact phrasing of an article to find it. That may be an issue with the wiki format rather than the website, though, so I'll reserve judgment in that regard.
I absolutely love the interface, it's very user- friendly and it's almost impossible to get confused with it.
I actively rely on UESP exclusively for everything I have ever needed in the Elder Scrolls series and have never needed to look anywhere else!
I adore the design of this site, though it is a pity that the wiki uses a separate account to the forums.
I adore the simplicity and power of the design but I'm a relatively experienced Wikipedia editor so am familiar with Mediawiki. I suspect many newbies feel intimidated by it, especially in the unique way you use namespaces.

I am quite old-fashioned in my browsing, and like the simple, easy-to-navigate design
I applaud the site's design; clean and stylish. Also, no run-of-the-mill mobile versions, so I automatically get the same experience in both my iPhone and computer â€” I like that.

I especially appreciate how easily the pages connect to each other, it's easy to read up on the lore of a god, then immediately click on all of that god's siblings related stories

I feel as though improvements could be made to how the site navigates when you are looking up information for more than one game at a time.

I feel like there are too many links that lead to the correct section, but incorrect subsection. For example, take Dawnguard's page - if you click on a creature, many of them often lead to a table at the top, like a loot table, instead of the correct monster section - still the right page at least.

I hate the format that wikis are currently moving to. Compare uesp.net to elderscrolls.wikia.com, and uesp seems MUCH cleaner.

I havent realy dug deep in the site but it would be cool if there was a feature every day wether its inf pics history or all. I would also like to say, I have the most awsomest modded morrowind game ever in the worl thanks to you! now i just need a better pc to play it, lol! truely thanks.
I know it is a work in progress and that there is a lot of user input, but there are a lot of unfinished pages that go to no where and the search function has trouble finding articles sometimes.
I know UESP contains alot of spoilers but it would be nice if occassionally there would be something like "SPOILER ALERT" before I end up ruining end-game.

I like it but some sections lack Images that elder scrolls wiki has. But overall UESP is much more accurate though ESW updates faster (Sadly).

I like that it's design is close to wikipedia's but not exactly the same as every Wikia page
I like the "Old parchment" style which remember me Oblivion and morrowind but it is still something too square and simple, some improvements to the font or the pages management system would be great.

I mainly just use the search bar to find the information I want. Afterwards, I can browse and easily find what I'm looking for. The search bar is a simple, yet effective tool.

I often have trouble with finding facts about one thing that reside in another article. For instance, I wanted to know what year Neravar was killed at Red Mountain, so I searched Neravar, found the Lore:Neravar page, but there is no information. I would have to find it on the timeline page or Event Battle For Read Mountain page.
I only wish there was a more usable mobile component... the sidebars interefere with mobile readibility.
I particularly like the light coloured background and good font size and I mostly refer to it while using my netbook.
I personally have no problems with it, but maybe working with 'quick-tabs' to certain subjects that are most often sought for and that sort.
I personally love the feel of parchment and fantasy to the theme, while still being easy-to-understand Wikia at the same time.
I prefer the "Wikipedia" style wiki design before the "mediawiki" style design, employed in other places. The tables around the pages provide an excellent way of quickly obtaining specific information.
I prefer this layout and Background over the official site due to its clear text unlike the black background of the official wiki

I really do prefer the UESPs layout to other wikis like the Vault wiki.
I really enjoy UESP's usability, and it's commitment to providing links. But, I do think UESP could perhaps slightly update it's design.

I really wouldn't change anything about the site's interface. It does exactly what it needs to do, and I rarely if ever have any difficulty finding what I'm looking for.
I sometimes find it difficult to determine the main skills of NPC's in Skyrim. A clearer layout may be nice.
I sometimes have serious problems with the way the site handles page names, especially if something appears in more than one game. I think every page for an item / person / quest who appears in multiple games should have links to the other versions (one notable example is the page "Lore: Yagrum Bagarn" which has no link to his Morrowind page.
I think an autocomplete search box could be a great help, similar to what Wikipedia has.
I think it is easy enough to find where you want to go on this site, but I think there may be room for improvement.
I think it is flawless. What makes it even better is it is in the Wikipedian style (if you wish to put it that way) which makes the whole site even simpler to use.
I think it might be useful to have archives of removed page content. Sometimes the language has changed and it can be difficult to find something vaguely recalled.

i think it's a great search system for example.
I think that if there was a way to filter search results by game it would make the site a lot easier to browse. I've found difficulty when I try to search for the dark brotherhood in skyrim for example because I need to sort through all of the games' dark brotherhood articles
i think that the way you have set it out with firstly, all of the games, then going into more detail; their lore, NPCs quests etc...
I think the "other elder scrolls wiki" gets their topic-wide organization a bit better sometimes, but UESP wiki has been improving

I think there needs to be redirects, so if you type in 'Fort Virtue,' you'll be taken to 'Oblivion:Fort Virtue' rather than a search page
I think you should make a Ipad application, I use this site often on my Ipad.

I use UESP on my iPhone but there is no app (last time I checked) and also no mobile version of the website.
I used the Official Skyrim Strategy Guide before switching to satelite internet. Even though the Strategy Guide was very helpful, this site is much for neatly organized and much easier to understand and use.

I would like if there would be some sort of update to the design of the website. Its been the same for the last few years or so and it would be nice to see a new background, possibly something pertaining to Skyrim or even a little something from every game (if there is something that every game shares).
I would like in-game items to have their own pages so we can identify and tell of bugs, as well as more details, not on a long list telling of simple things about them, so more akin to the other Elder Scrolls wiki.

I would suggest a list of "quick facts" about the game. Ie. How completing the main quest affects the game, ie. is it still the same afterwards or must you rather leave it for last. Does sleeping or waiting negatively affect the game or is there no deadline to finish the game. When you are a vampire how do you feed ect.

Improvements could be made in the home-page index that would all you to drill-down to the radial quest of interest. Currently I have to use 'Startpage.com' with the search term of 'skyrim _____' to find the uesp page I want.
In regards to the design, I find it to be clever. It's simple, but it isn't dull or aesthetically unpleasing.

Like all wikis there are occasions when I want a browse feature, just to explore and find the stuff that I didn't know was out there.
Like all wikis, there is a certain non-uniformity to the writing styles of the pages. Fortunately, it is usually subtle at UESP :)

Looks great and matches Oblivion well. that said I think a lot of people are turning to the other Wiki because it's black theme matches the skyrim theme, it just feels weird looking at this site next to Skyrim. The biggest issue though is the search function, to see what I mean type "dragon mask" into the search of this site and other Wiki's, then try similar partial searches(which is common when people go to look something up) I like the logo and design of the site, and it's pretty well organized, but changing the theme to be similar to the most recent ES game might be advantageous.

Love how everything is organized! The search function can be pretty hard to use, though. The spelling has to be precise or what you're looking for doesn't come up. Also, there were some times i've wanted to correct minor mistakes in the first "section" of a page, and I could not find the edit button. Overall, though I always get the information I need, and am usually able to correct things I see wrong.

One moderately issue is the automatic insertion of which game/lore subcategory when using the search function, even if you mean to look for data of another game.
One of the best things by far in the site is that you encounter a lot of different links in every article. This is undoubtedly wonderful since as soon as you finish with a page, you can turn to another one, and another one, and so on! So I love the fact that every person, place, or item mentioned has a link to its own article.

Specifically for weapons, armour and item articles, it is difficult to match the designated item/armour/weapon to an image or location. Though not strategy, it would certainly provide a useful idea on where these items are located in the game (much like where quests, NPCs or places are located). The images are on articles, but they're not evidently linked to the items the represent, more so they hover at the bottom of lists or simply not at all.

The actual articles are generally of good/great quality, but the search function needs dire simplification. For example, a search for 'iron axe' brings up 20 results for 'Page title matches' alone. What would be better is for it to bring you straight to the skyrim article for 'Iron Axe', and then present a disambiguation page link IE wikipedia.

The maps, items, NPCs, etc are organized into games. The use of the Construction Set or the Creation Kit helps many PC players with console commands, which is very useful.

The uesp is one of the best wiki type sites that i have use. It seems that many people have dedicated a lot of time and effort into creating and maintaining it. Being able to compare stats and look up lore instead of having to search for it all in game has greatly added to my elder scrolls experience.

When clicking on an item that's categorized in a large list, the bookmark makes it so that I have to scroll up slightly to see the entirety of the description and whatnot for that particular item.

Whenever I have a question about a game or the elder scrolls lore this is the website I use.
Whenever you need to find something, it's right there for you. No confusion, nothing hidden.
While it is incredibly easy to use the site, some more headings while subdividing sections of quests, items, characters, etc would be appreciated.
While it took me a few visits to get used to the subsections (for lack of a better term). I now feel like the way the layout is, I can see all of the information very quickly and can easily get detailed info just as quick. I think it is very user friendly but I can see people getting confused coming from other more simplistic wikias.

Wikimedia formatting is near perfect for this type of material.
Wikis aren't exactly the best way to find information, but the Morrowind section here is extremely complete, thorough, answering questions I didn't even think to ask. TheOblivion and skyrim sections on the other hand seem to be suffering form sort of editing war between some users where perfectly usable articles are randomly changed or altered until they are substantially less concise and useful. Especially with new Skyrim information and secondary or faction associated quests in Oblivion, much needed information is available initially, then suddenly lacking.

With regards my last two answers: I am entirely satisfied with speed/design/etc. and would have no idea how to improve them. They seem very similar to attributes of other sites, however, so I cannot say they are exceptional.
