UESPWiki talk:Bad Addresses

First ones

I'm not sure what format we're going to want to use for this but I have the first three IPs acting suspiciously:

• 202.115.130.23 - has spent half an hour doing POST /w/index.php?title=UESPWiki_talk:Deletion_Review/Category. It's from China and is already blocked from the wiki for spam.
• 125.60.230.72 - has spent 11 minutes so far doing GET /w/index.php?title=Oblivion:Cure_Poison&action=edit. It's from the Philippines and is unblocked at the moment.
• 210.2.148.34 - spent 10 minutes doing GET /w/index.php?title=Tamriel:Bestiary_U&action=edit and has just moved on to GET /w/index.php?title=Category:Redguard&action=edit. From Pakistan and also unblocked at the moment.

I know the blocking idea hasn't been approved but I wanted to start recording these anyway. –Rpeh^{•T•C•E•} 05:06, 17 January 2008 (EST)

unblocked so far - made several requests for edit pages including GET /w/index.php?title=Tamriel:Places_T&action=edit but no edits were saved

unblocked so far - made several requests for edit pages including /w/index.php?title=Tamriel:Places_K&action=edit but no edits were saved

125.60.230.72

unblocked so far - a couple of null edits - POST /w/index.php?title=Oblivion:Bleak_Mine&action=submit

Third Round

Just noticed this cluster in the server logs and wanted to pretend to do something about it. All three of the following IPs were simultaneously trying to an edit obscure page:

125.60.230.72

unblocked so far, but flagged by twice by Rpeh. Multiple times seen doing GET /w/index.php?title=UESPWiki_talk:General_disclaimer&action=edit

210.22.158.132

blocked, and flagged once by Rpeh. Another GET /w/index.php?title=UESPWiki_talk:General_disclaimer&action=edit

201.30.20.131

unblocked so far. At the exact same time as the previous two IPs, also doing GET /w/index.php?title=UESPWiki_talk:General_disclaimer&action=edit

Moral of the story: these IPs do keep coming back again and again with some very distinctive editing patterns. --Nephele^Talk 12:44, 24 January 2008 (EST)
