Hi
I am a newbie to the Elder Scrolls world - having been introduced by Rob, one of the admins on this very portal. Unlike Rob, I am a humble serf eking out a simple existence in the Nibenay valley.
My simple existence is partially a cover to further my studies of the Argonians. Myself and a Breton who was once a boat-builder are applying Saussurian linguistic methods to the study of their language. Though trained in the Jakobsen school of anthropology I am formulating new frameworks for my studies in the lower Nibenay. I have been told to visit the Mystic Archive.
Twice a year I visit The Shivering Isle to the South East of Tamriel. This is a kingdom which has been split in two by a mighty, centuries-long conflict but whose natives are warm and welcoming. Those locals who have taken recourse to the legendary 'pocheen' tell tales of the 'small people'.
Occasionally I partake in the 'South East Rail' quest to escape my native village but am often thwarted by snow of demonic powderiness or the mysterious 'leaves of the iron rail'.
Whilst not deep in Oblivion I work for these folks: Blackstairs Mountains
