About Me

My real name is Jacob Ransom Flanders. I live in Rocky Ford, a small town in the state of Georgia. I go to a school where everyone seems to care about nothing but the graphics in games, which is one of the reasons I joined this site. I heard someone talking to another person saying that Oblivion sucked because of its graphics, that was when I joined. So now I give information about why graphics are not an important factor of how good a game is. Hopefully everyone on this game believes the same.

Respect Oblivion!

That's right, people who still own Oblivion and actually have enough sense to still notice that the game has much left in it are anticipating a time when they have enough green that they have used to line their pockets to buy Skyrim. As I go to school, everyone in my class who still plays any of this isn't exactly respecting Oblivion enough. However, I have started a new game, mainly just to do what I believe is playing it for what might be the last time. Article added on November 21st of 2011.

Graphics, not Important

Apparrently for the students at my school, they only care about Graphics, they don't have the mind capacity to realize that they don't have fun because of graphics, it is the gameplay and story of a game that matters. This concept makes me angry, and the fact that even I worry about MY generation makes be start to believe that I have issues. It's like I'm an old man on Halloween, out of candy, and kids who get angry, just because he doesn't have any candy, throw eggs at his house. Except the students are angry with me because the I don't have their same thoughts on what makes a game, which basically is the candy. The eggs are the pathetic insults they throw at me because I don't agree. I don't care, I'm so fat, that if I got a chance to sit on one of those retards, they'd be in a coffin by this afternoon! But, sadly, it is Thanksgiving break, and I am still longing for that chance.

Jumbo Potatoes

This is simply a complaint of how pointless this sidequest is. How do you get to this side-quest? Go down the road to Bravil, and take a road that is 1/4 circle. At the end of that road is an inn. Talk to a Kajiit named..... I forgot. But the point is she is not the one behind the counter. As soon as she finishes talking to you, select Jumbo Potatoes. She will tell you that someone stole her jumbo potatoes, and she needs them to make her "famous" potato bread. She sounds extremely dilusional, and did it ever cross her mind to get REGULAR potatoes? Apparently not. Before you go out the door of the inn, she will tell you that this "brute" was absolutely HUGE. Go out the door and go to the green triangle, you will see. The brute was an ogre, but this is the only non-pointless part, and also, you should know that ogre's teeth are worth 50 dollars to a merchant with 1200 dollars, anyway, take the potatoes back to S'whatserface. She gives you NO GOLD, only her patato bread. Which is "more valuable than gold", of course it is, it is worth 20 to an alchemist merchant with 1200 gold. The only benifit are the ogre's teeth.

Skyrim: Fears of Gameplay Changes

Everybody loves the Elder Scrolls Games, but there are people worrying that Skyrim might just be a game where you can't change the controls to your liking, the controls in previous games are considered annoying. Many people use the change controls to their advantage in Oblivion, but some people are still frustrated that even though the game has been released, mainly because there is no news about controller settings. Hopefully, Bethesda still has some little sliver sof sense.

Oh boy, Thanksgiving

Today is when we celebrate a feast that happened hundreds of years ago. I hope everyone can see why we do this, it is because without the feast, natives and travelers would have never made peace, even though there was never a time that someone wasn't losing their head in the 1800's - early 1900's. So, I just wanted to say, put that damned controller down and eat turkey until you fall asleep and wake up a couple of hours later and everyone who joined your feast is gone. Then if you are sad you missed it all, drink till your drunk........ I honestly have no idea why I said that. Just freaking enjoy the holiday.

PlayStation 3 vs. XBox 360

Oh god, this is a concept we have gone over too many times, everyone is still going crazy about which platform is better, so listen up, they are both great. For some reason I just can't seem to find a single person other than me who will agree that both of the platforms are good! I have never met someone in physical form who has my same thoughts except for people online!

Apologies for my Absence

As of Friday and Saturday I was not here. On Friday I just didn't feel like it, and on Saturday I was going to, but I replaced my completed quest with another game, so I started a new game and finished it today. Speaking of finishing the main quest, I finished it in only five hours! That's what makes humans unique, dedication pushes us beyond our limit, and it pushed me beyond my eyes's ability to take in vivid colors. I was like, "Ahh, to vibrant and noticable!"

There is no way that I can find a decent video selection because no matter what, every single one either isn't completed (and probably never will be because "part 1" was posted 1 year ago) or that someone is talking in the background, which is why I have started a campaign called N.L.O.Y. or No Loudmouths On Youtube.

Skyrim is Nothing Compared to Epic

I got it and epic doesn't even cut how incredible this game is, it cannot be described by any words. If you get skyrim, just make sure you play it the way a good game shopuld be played. Also, there will not be any changes in Skyrim, you can change the controls to your liking. The storyline compared to Oblivion is much less gray and boring, and the game is twice as challenging.
