When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Advice

If you would like to experiment with how to edit, you may want to try editing in our sandbox. Adding nonsense and obscenities to UESPWiki, even on your own page, forces other editors to spend time cleaning up after you. You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. I'm sorry, but if it involves inappropriate language, no (I mean, minor cursing is sometimes okay, but we like to leave the f-word out of it). We allow freedom to a certain extent for userpages, but inappropriate language and sexual content isn't allowed. ⇠eshe^talk
