You posted something about not being able to get into the IRC chatroom. Clicking on this should bring you to the room. It should open in a new window, and possibly ask you for permission. If this doesn't work, maybe you need to update your java program.

Ok. I'm expecting that a firewall is blocking your IRC (are you at a school perhaps?). Have you checked to see if you can join any other irc servers? I'm sure wikipedia has a list of popular ones somewhere. --Tim ^Talk 12:42, 8 January 2009 (EST)

Hmmm. That is strange. Does your client give you anything other than "Unable to connect to server". Are you trying to get on using an open proxy? One of my other servers I go to has a proxy scanner. It is possible that maybe you are the target of IP blocks that were in place to protect against spammers. If you continue having problems, I'm sure Chatspike has a forum or something to allow you to contact them out of IRC. I'm sorry I can't be of anymore help. --Tim ^Talk 13:37, 9 January 2009 (EST)
