When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Formatting[edit]
Hi there, just a quick note for future reference, typically subheadings in pages have two equals signs on either side of them (==Notes== for example). Single-sided equals signs are seldom used. --Rezalon (talk) 23:04, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- Additionally, when adding bugs, please use the {{bug}} template and add it as unconfirmed so another user who has also experienced the bug can confirm it. --Rezalon (talk) 23:24, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- I know about the two equals to signs. {{bug}} do I need to remember that line? I don't get why I :need to have it as unconfirmed --TheSeldomConsitentEditor (talk) 01:39, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
- It's wiki policy that if only a single person as encountered a bug it can be added to an article, but it requires multiple people to have experienced it to be considered confirmed. --Rezalon (talk) 06:03, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
- Can you explain how I can edit my user name? TheSeldomConsitentEditor (talk) 00:04, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- Only Wiki Administrators can edit or change user names. You can post a request on the Administrator Noticeboard or contact one of the admins directly with your request. — Wolfborn(Howl) 01:01, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

Suggestion: WIP template[edit]
Saw your edit in Arena:Bugs. If you're working on an overhaul / a revamp that is expected to take some time, you might want to consider adding a {{wip}} markup to the page you're working on to denote that your work is still in progress. Salamangkero (talk) 14:01, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the suggestion, I am unaware how to do so. Just what you wrote inbetween brackets? I was planning on working on it tomorrow TheSeldomConsitentEditor (talk) 14:16, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

- At the top of the page:

nowiki[edit]
Hello fellow Arena player. It's been a couple of months so maybe you've figured this out already, but you can keep an asterisk from becoming a bullet point by surrounding it with nowiki tags like this:
- <nowiki>*</nowiki>
