A little request

Hey there! Thanks for your interest in the wiki; however, you seem to have been making an incredibly amount of edits to some pages by not using the show preview button, clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! Welcoming new users

Hey there! While it is good that you are welcoming the new users, I want to point you towards our "standard"-welcome message - it provides a lot more important info for new users and also mentions the userboxes. You are, of course, free to give the message some "personality", but I think it is a shame that new members only learn about userboxes when they join. You can find the standard welcome here. Absolutely! And it's pretty easy - just type in the user's name in the small box and you will be taken to the message, with your signature and all. Nonsense

Please be very careful when dismissing other users' contributions as "nonsense" as you did here. While I think the list of methods is getting too long and could use a cleanup, the latest addition was certainly not "nonsense", and calling it such could be seen as a personal attack. rpeh •T•C•E• 06:44, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
