Patch vs Version

"Patch" vs "Version" I'm curious why 1.06 is listed as "Version" while the others are listed as "Patches". When I open the Readme.txt it says "Version 1.06", but that's also true of the Readme.txt for 1.05 and then the first line in both call them "patches". I'm sure this was unintentional, but wanted to see if there was a reason I may not be aware of. This use of the word "Version" also made me consider if this is the proper location to include information from the 1.07 CD-ROM Readme.txt and list this versions additions? Although 1.07 is not a patch, it "is" a later version and the differences from 1.06 are difficult to locate elsewhere. --Satribe (talk) 13:25, 11 November 2020 (UTC)

specification needed for patch version

Someone asked me on https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Arena:Equipment_Stores regarding which patch included the option to sell magic equipment, can we find out which patch allowed this and can we differentiate between 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 and 1.04? Patch 1.03 doesn't have same button explanation

I have not enough knowledge of the english language to formulate this correctly but patch 1.04's note on button mechanics has a style not carried over for patch 1.03. I checked and it does have the same code line but for 1.03, it doesn't work. Someone with more experience might want to change that. Selling of potions made possible after 1.04

Currently on a playthrough and to my surprise, potions cannot be sold. I am using 1.04, so it might be worth finding out when potions were made available to be sold. Magical items, torcs, marks, amulets, rings, bracers, bracelets, crystals and belts could be sold much earlier through a patch.TheSeldomConsitentEditor (talk) 02:58, 15 April 2024 (UTC)

Reason for deletion of 1.03 entry

Hi, just wanted to give my thoughts and my reasoning for removing 1.03's section, a readme provided to me by Boustrophedon, thank you, showed some useful information regarding the patches. however, 1.03 seemed to not have any additional information on it.
