Skin

Why is Jiub's skin tone a more light-brown, but the actuall skin tone for a dark elf is more of a grey / slate-blue?

Look-Alike?

I have removed the sentence stating that before chargen you look like Jiub. As far as I can tell this is wrong. You do start as a Dark Elf male, but you have head_01 and hair_01 whereas Jiub has head_10 and hair_02. And of course the player also has a shirt and shoes.

Pronounciation?

How is Jiub pronounced? I've always said Jie-ub, but ive heard others say jee-oob or jee-ub or maybe even jie-oob??? Strange question, I know. - Lordjiub

Burz gro-Khash says "Jib" ("...I'm in charge of this St. Jiub's Fair"). Elves say it something like "Jurb" - not a rounded "r", more like to rhyme with "kerb", at least the way I say it. It's certainly one syllable anyway ("Even St. Jiub, who drove..."). Unfortunately there aren't any helpful script notes. –Rpeh^{•T•C•E•} 03:11, 4 October 2008 (EDT)

Jiub = St. Jiub?

Is there any real evidence to suggest the two are really the same person besides having the same name? Since, as we all know, is highly subject to debate. Lucky the Cat Guy. 23:06, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

You're right... but consider. Morrowind is set in 3E 429 and Oblivion in 3E 433, which means there's only ~4 years for somebody called Jiub to of the Cliffracers given that they definitely appear in the former. This is one case where, despite the lack of ingame info, I'm willing to let the statement pass. Cliffracers were - and are - hated by most players because they get in the way all the damn time; Jiub was your fellow prisoner on the boat taking you to Seyda Neen. Together, I think it's a little nod to TES4 players that Bethesda had got that one bit wrong. rpeh •T•C•E• 00:37, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Spawning Jiub

I can't seem to spawn Jiub. "chargen name" spawns nothing even though I get no errors. Is there a way to spawn him via the console? Is he different from other NPCs?Baron Praxis (talk) 09:58, 23 August 2014 (GMT)
