The Baby Cliff-Strider is a cliff skipper that hatches from what is thought to be the royal kwama egg from Gnisis during the quest Hatching a Plan, after Vigard the Sparrow performs.

Shortly after the hatching, an enraged cliff strider matriarch known as Dagger-Beak flies into the docks and slays Vigard, before turning its attention on you.
