These images have been uploaded with an improper file format. In most cases, images on the site should be in .jpg format. For smaller images needing alpha, .png is acceptable. And for images which don't need more than 8-bit color and which don't need to be scaled, .gif format works. All other formats should not be used. Files in the wrong format can be converted and re-uploaded with most image manipulation programs.
