Frathen Drothan

Frathen Drothan is a rogue Telvanni wizard added by the Mehrunes' Razor official download. He leads the Drothmeri Army and searches Varsa Baalim for Mehrunes Razor, in hopes of using it to topple Imperial rule. He can be found studying Msirae Faythung in the Nefarivigum at all times of the day, never pausing to even eat or sleep.

Although he is utterly single-minded in his quest, his troops seem to be less convinced and some openly profess him mad. In his letter home, the Armor Apprentice will be scathing:

"I couldn't believe the pay this lunatic was offering, and I doubt we would have followed him all the way to Cyrodiil otherwise. The fool thinks he'll overthrow the Empire, Vaermina take him! I figure we'll end up deserting soon, just as soon as we've gotten as much pay as we can without actually following this addled madman into battle."

An unnamed Drothmeri recruit also penned a final letter before dying in Varsa Baalim, which is also rather negative:

"Drothan's a madman. (...) When the slaughter began, I saw him flee in the shadows, Dagon take the s'wit."

He wears his unique leveled Spellturn Cloak and Bladeturn Hood, and will carry his key. In addition, he will wear leveled light gauntlets and boots, up to Glass quality. These may also be enchanted, starting from level 3 with 20% chance, rising to 25% from level 7 and 30% from level 9 and possibly enchanted. He will yield a leveled longsword or claymore, up to Daedric quality. His weapon may be enchanted starting from level 3 with 25% chance, rising to 40% from level 7 and to 50% from level 9. Frathen's weapon and armor are always the best possible quality for his level.
