Guilbert Selone is a Breton commoner and a survivor of the Kvatch raid, first found in the Chapel of Akatosh.
While he is stuck in the Chapel of Akatosh, he will sleep at 10pm until 12pm the following day. He will spend the rest of his time wandering about the chapel. If he escapes from the ruins of Kvatch, he will wander around the campsite, never eating or sleeping.
Like the other survivors, he doesn't have much. He only has a small amount of gold and his clothes: coarse linens, a collared shirt and a pair of buckled shoes.
Dialogue[edit]
When you greet him for the first time, while still hiding out in the Chapel, he will say:
- "It's the Chapel of Akatosh. Four walls standing, and no fire. Can you think of a safer place?"
When asked about Kvatch at this point he will respond:
- Kvatch
- "I'm not going out there. What's the point? There's nothing left. I'll just stay right here."
As soon as he leaves the chapel with Tierra and the other refugees, Guilbert will tell you about what Kvatch was like prior to the invasion from the daedra, saying:
- "Maybe we can rebuild. But things will never be the same. We had everything here. Beautiful gardens. Fresh mountain air. Did you know Kvatch had the only Arena in Cyrodiil outside the Imperial City? All gone now, though. Just smoke and mud and rubble."
Notes[edit]
- Guilbert's greeting and initial Kvatch topic still have voice files leftover where they were provided by Wes Johnson. However, his second Kvatch topic, where he mentions the arena, doesn't. This topic has the "REC" note attached in the Construction Set, showing that it was re-recorded at a later date, presumably after Ralph Cosham took over voicing the Breton males. Seeing as originally all cities were meant to have an arena, this topic in all likelihood would've contained different information.
