Zone 1: Sercen[edit]

Sercen

This ruin is essentially one large room. In the passage between the entrance and the main room, be careful of the Tripwire (D) at the top of the stairs which triggers a Swinging Mace trap (C). After passing this obstacle, bandit opposition will likely be met. Before the large chamber is a smaller one enclosed by two locked gates, E and F (you will only need to pick one open to gain access). It contains a minor loot chest, and possibly one of the bandits. A bandit may also be sleeping in the bedroll (b) just in front of gate E.

It is advisable to quickly dispatch the enemies in the first half of the room to avoid fighting up to five bandits at the same time. The far end of the room holds the boss-level bandit ringleader (A), the boss chest (B), and a bedroll (b). The small room to the southwest contains a minor loot chest. After collecting all ten Welkynd Stones from their pedestals or off the ground, retrace your steps to the entrance and exit the ruin.

Occupants:

  • 1 boss-level Bandit at location A on map
