He'll call out to you as you approach:

Brigadine Antonius: "You there! The Ivory Brigade has need of you!"

Speak to him.

"You look like you've got your wits about you. Care to make a bit of extra gold working for Leyawiin's Ivory Brigade?
I've been asked by my captain to find someone who can handle themselves. We need help with a delicate situation."

What's the situation?

"Deadly secrets. Assassins. Murder! And now apparently a councilor has gone missing. Between the war, bandits, and cultists, the Ivory Brigade is like the Nord that tries to plug a leaking cask of mead only to realize he doesn't have enough fingers!"

What do you need me to do?

"Talk to my commander, Captain Rian Liore. You can find him just outside the city gates, trying to appease some of the nobles.
Tell him I sent you and he'll put you right to work, I'm sure."

I'll go speak to Captain Rian Liore.

If you speak to him again, he'll say:

"Captain Rian Liore. That's who you're looking for. If you're interested in helping Leyawiin, speak to him. He should still be outside the city gates."

An Unexpected Adversary

Brigadine Antonius can be found in Leyawiin and Gideon, with a message for you to return to Leyawiin Castle He will call you out "There you are! Captain Rian sent me to find you." And once you speak to him:

"Captain Rian sent me to find you. Your presence is urgently required in Leyawiin Castle."

What's going on at Leyawiin Castle?

"The councilors have taken refuge in the castle and have been discussing options with the Chamber of Legates. They decided to send you and the Wood Elf to investigate the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary you learned about in Gideon."

And what do they want us to do when we get there?

"I think they want you to investigate. Ascertain the situation. But the Wood Elf would know more. I'm just an overqualified messenger.
Will you heed the captain and go to Leyawiin Castle? Eveli Sharp-Arrow is anxiously awaiting your arrival."

I'll go to Leyawiin Castle and speak to Eveli.

"The Wood Elf awaits you in Leyawiin Castle. She appeared anxious to get on with your investigation and doesn't seem the patient sort.
I suspect she might leave without you if you don't get there soon."
