Mallius Falto is a dying Imperial priest of Arkay found near a cursed urn located deep within the ruins of Broken Tusk. He tried to stop the cultists of Molag Bal from summoning a great evil, but was captured in the process. He was then tortured by Naeraizozan.

If you try to speak with him before the quest, he'll merely utter:

"Urn …."

After you take the urn, he'll cry out:

Mallius Falto: "Help please. The Urn. Not much time!"

With his grievous wounds, he will try and explain what happened.

"Urn … dangerous. Cultists summoned terrible … killed them. Take urn to Alten Corimont. Find Vaudrie. Safe with her."

Who are you?

"Priest of Arkay. Tried to stop them … Daedra caught me. Naeraizozan tortured me. Bragged that I would serve her master ….
Blessing. Need blessing!"

Blessing?

"Of Arkay. Protect soul from Molag Bal. Stop it being perverted. Phial of water, in tunic. Reach it, please?"

I found it. What should I do with it?

"Nearly dead, never make it. You are strong, better chance …."

All right, I'll take it.

"Good. Take urn from this place. To Vaudrie … in Alten Corimont. Safe with her."

<Drink the phial.>

Take urn to Alten Corimont. Vaudrie. Tell her … I am at peace."

With either option, Mallius expires.
