Tarhiel Farano is a Dark Elf who dies after falling a large distance from a failed spell. He can be found at various points across the Telvanni Peninsula as a Random Encounter.

Ice Arrow

A basic ranged attack that does minor frost damage.

Ice Barrier

Tarhiel Farano summons an Ice Barrier that absorbs projectiles fired at it until destroyed. Tarhiel Farano cannot be pulled if the wall stands between them and Tarhiel Farano. The player should move so that there is a clear line of sight between themselves and Tarhiel Farano.e

Winter's Reach

Tarhiel Farano unleashes an icy whirlwind in the direction he is facing. This whirlwind does moderate frost damage and roots all players that it hits. The root effect passes through block, but it can be escaped by roll dodging.

Run Away!

When too close to him, Tarhiel Farano backs up to put some distance between his target and himself.

He will say the following while plummeting to his death:

Tarhiel Farano: "Aim for something soft!"

After dying, he attacks you in ghost form:

Tarhiel Farano: "Do you think that's funny? I'll teach you to laugh at progress!"

Tarhiel Farano: "That went poorly. And no witnesses? Well, not for long."
