The Imperfect

The Imperfect is a factotum which may be encountered as a boss within the Infinite Archive. Its original manifestation may be found at the Sanctuary of Verification.

Skills and Abilities

Punch

A basic melee attack dealing high physical damage.

Eye Laser

The Imperfect shoots you with a beam of concentrated energy from its face, dealing very high shock damage.

Split Lasers

The Imperfect four energy beams split apart from each other at first away from you, which then travel back to the Imperfect, indicated by small traveling circular AoEs, dealing high shock damage and extremely high shock damage if they all overlap on top of you at their end point.

Arm Rakes

The Imperfect kneels down on one knee and rakes its massive arms across the floor before itself, one after the other, indicated by quarter-circle AoEs, dealing high physical damage each and knocking you backwards.

Pulverize

The Imperfect flies up into the air with the help of its feet thrusters, before plunging back down into the ground and releasing an energy shockwave, indicated by a very large growing circular AoE, dealing a mix of high physical and shock damage and knocking you down.

Tracking Beams

The Imperfect kneels down one knee and begins spinning its arms above its head, forming a large sphere of energy. While active, the sphere shoots bolts of energy, one after the other, towards you, causing delayed explosions at your location after a few seconds which are indicated by medium-sized growing circular AoEs, dealing high shock damage each.

Kinetic Shield

The Imperfect overcharges itself and begins to shake violently, as it applies a damage shield on itself. This always coincides with the summoning of its fabricant allies.

Summon Verminous Fabricants

Throughout the fight, the Imperfect will summon a group of four champion-rank Verminous Fabricants to come assist it.
