Skills and Abilities[edit]
As a boss rank creature, The Prime Cataloger is immune to crowd control. When you start the combat a Dreamcarver Kynreeve, a Dreamcarver Shade Sentinel, a Dreamcarver Spellsword and a Watcher all spawn-in to fight you. During the whole fight are periodically summoned to fight you stronger Hushed Dark Champions, Hushed Nightblades, Hushed Raveners, Hushed Reavers, Hushed Shadow Mages, Hushed Spellfiends and Watchlings.
- Quick Shot
- Basic Ranged attack dealing high magic damage.
- Powerful Barrage
- The Seeker targets one person and fires three projectiles that deal high magic damage with a fourth projectile dealing extreme magic damage and slowing for 1 second in a cone area. This can be interrupted to stagger The Prime Cataloger.
- Apocrypha Wave
- The Prime Cataloger sends grounds area in all directions from under it, each dealing very high magic damage and slowing for 2 seconds. Blocking negates the snare.
- Terrorize
- The Prime Cataloger screams while following the direction of a target, dealing continuous moderate frost damage and stunning targets hit in a large cone. Blocking negates the stun.
- Devour Brain
- The Prime Cataloger stuns all nearby targets and slowly pulls them to it while dealing continuous moderate oblivion damage. Under it is an area which if you touch it, you are always stunned and dealt lethal oblivion damage after a small delay. You must break free of this and you can interrupt The Prime Cataloger to completely stop this attack.
- Prime Shades/Shadow Cloak
- At 80% and 40% Health, The Prime Cataloger will summon four Prime Shades and disappear. The Prime Shades must be defeated to have the Cataloger return. Each Prime Shades defeated summons one Watcher. During this part the Prime Shades periodically transfer their invincibility to an other Shade and it follows this rule:
- If there are three or four Prime Shades, two of them are invincible at a time.
- If there are two Prime Shades, one of them is invincible at a time.
- If there is one Prime Shades, it is never invincible (unless it is an invincibility from the two rules before which will fade after a few seconds).
- Incunabular Storm
- Three Tome Tornados appear with the first "Prime Shades/Shadow Cloak" and stay during the whole fight. They contantly roam around the area as circular AoEs and deal continuous fast low physical damage to targets inside.
While in "Prime Shades/Shadow Cloak",a fourth special Tome Tordano appears at the center of the arena until the Shades are defeated, this Tome Tornado deals continuous fast low physical damage but also periodically sends a large number of small tome tornadoes in an arc in all directions counter-clockwise which all deal continuous fast moderate-high physical damage to targets inside them.
