The Rootwhisperer is a Naga of the Sul-Xan tribe and one of five champions in the Silent Halls. She is located in the western end of the Xanmeer.
She has a chance to drop the Antiquity lead for a Reinforced Clasp Anchor, a fragment of the Shapeshifter's Chain.
Skills and Abilities[edit]
- Vial Toss
- The Rootwhisperer tosses a flaming vial as a basic ranged attack, dealing moderate flame damage.
- Locust Swarm
- The Rootwhisperer channels a spell, transforming herself into a swarm of insects and then teleporting away. The remaining swarm is indicated by a red circle, dealing continuous low poison damage.
- Soiled Earth
- The Rootwhisperer holds her staff in her hands and channels an ability that causes poison to bubble up from the ground at her targets' location, indicated by large red circles, dealing continuous moderate poison damage as well as trapping and snaring them. Dodge roll to break the immobilize. This can be interrupted (See bugs below).
- Summon
- The Rootwhisperer tosses dirt on the ground in front of herself, summoning a Strangler to assist her.
Dialogue[edit]
During combat:
- The Rootwhisperer: "You'll water my plants with your blood!"
- The Rootwhisperer: "The plants, they hunger!"
- The Rootwhisperer: "Your death will be slow and agonizing!"
Notes[edit]
- While using "Locust Swarm", The Rootwhisperer has a chance of teleporting into the hostile plants that surround the arena, which damages her greatly in turn.
Bugs[edit]
- Even if "Soiled Earth" is interrupted, the related areas of effect will still appear and apply their damage and effects. ?
