The Stonekeeper is a Dwarven Colossus that serves as the final boss of Frostvault, guarding one half of the Wrathstone. Due to having a shield active, it cannot be damaged unless both its Flame Bellows Gauntlet and Rotary Blades Gauntlet are destroyed, creating a period of time where it can be attacked until it repairs its arms. The Dwemer took extraordinary measures to keep the Wrathstone from the Ayleids, and the Stonekeeper is the last line of defense.
Periodically, you and your group members will be tasked with controlling skeevatons to disable shock conveyors during the battle. Tharayya will provide helpful commentary during the battle to warn you of attacks.

Skills and Abilities[edit]
As a boss type enemy, the Stonekeeper is immune to all crowd control effects. Initially, the Stonekeeper is invulnerable while its arms are active. Taunting the main body will also taunt both arms.
Initial Phase[edit]
- Flensing Ray
- A basic attack that deals moderate flame damage.
- Ablative Fallout
- Getting hit by Flensing Ray will deal moderate flame damage over time.
- Grind
- The boss uses its right arm to deal high physical damage over time in an area in front of itself. Do not stand in front of the boss unless you are the tank. Destroying the Rotary Blade Gauntlet will disable this attack.
- Ignite
- The boss will spew flame dealing moderate flame damage over time to all players in front of it. Do not stand in front of the boss unless you are the tank. Destroying the Flame Bellows Gauntlet will disable this attack.
- Summon Dwarven Centurion
- When each arm is destroyed, a dwarven centurion will be summoned. It deals very high damage with its heavy attacks, and must be killed quickly to make the fight easier.
The ideal kill order for this phase is to kill the blade gauntlet, the centurion, the flame gauntlet and then the second centurion.
Armless Phase One[edit]
After both arms are destroyed, the boss will become vulnerable.
- Energized Sphere
- Small volatile spheres will appear and roll towards the boss in the middle as indicated by a red circle. Touching the sphere will stun the player and deal moderate shock damage.
- Disintegration Failsafe
- The boss will shoot out fire from the holes where its arms used to be, and start rotating. Stay in front or behind the boss to avoid the flames. This attack is lethal on veteran.
- Summon Dwarven Spider and Dwarven Arquebus
- Dwarven spiders will appear to attack the group. These are generally weak and can be easily cleaved down. Stronger dwarven arquebuses will spawn on the edge of the arena, and will charge a lethal snipe attack which must be interrupted. The easiest way to deal with these is to use a knockback ability to knock the spheres off the edge into the chasm or onto the hot metal near the entrance and exit, which will kill them instantly. Doing this 20 times will net players an achievement.
Skeevaton Phase[edit]
At 50%, the boss will regain its arms and become invulnerable.
- Extermination Protocol
- The boss will begin charging a lethal attack that fires within 10 seconds. Each player must get into a skeevaton located at the side of the arena to avoid this.
Once inside the skeevaton, use the 1st skill near the magicka condenser repeatedly to charge your ultimate. Follow the blue lines on the floor to reach the shock conveyor at the end and use your ultimate to destroy it. Avoid the flames/spinning blades inside by using your speed and heal skills appopriately. Once all 4 shock conveyors are destroyed, the phase ends and all players are teleported out.
Second Arm Phase[edit]
Some attacks from the initial phase return, with the addition of the Whirring Blade.
- Whirring Blade and Bleeding
- Spinning blades will now appear either on the inner track or outer track, dealing moderate physical damage over time to all players as indicated by red circles. Getting hit by the blade will apply Bleeding which is a moderate physical damage over time. Avoid them if possible by standing on the track without a blade on it.
The ideal kill order for this phase is again to kill the blade gauntlet, the centurion, the flame gauntlet and then the second centurion.
Execute Phase[edit]
This phase starts once the boss reaches 30% health.
- High-Pressure Blast
- The boss releases steam that will knock players off the edge of the arena as indicated by a red cone. Block or dodge to prevent this.
- Disintegration Failsafe
- The boss will shoot out fire from the holes where its arms used to be, and start rotating. Stay in front or behind the boss to avoid the flames. This attack is lethal on veteran.
Hard Mode[edit]
The following attacks are added on hard mode.
- Enfeebling Effluvium
- The boss releases a mist that reduces healing received. This occurs occasionally.
- Haywire Missiles
- During the execute phase, missiles will fire out from the boss dealing high damage as indicated by red circles.
- Scattered Embers
- The Ignite ability will cause Whirring Blades to start shooting fireballs at all players dealing moderate flame damage over time.
- Summon Dwarven Spider and Dwarven Arquebus
- Dwarven spiders and dwarven arquebuses will spawn on the edge of the arena during execute phase.
- Summon Dwarven Centurion
- An additional dwarven centurion will be summoned at 25% health.
The skeevaton phase for hard mode is also completely different:
- Damage Dealers have frost mines which freeze enemies, volatile spheres which deal massive damage and oneshot frozen enemies, and a shock field ultimate which puts a snare on enemies, and increases damage enemies take.
- Healers have a speedbuff, a 3-meter radius heal, and a discharge energy ultimate which oneshots the Shock Conveyors.
- Tanks have a speedbuff, an energy shield that protects the whole group from damage, and a discharge energy ultimate which oneshots the Shock Conveyors.
