Thera is a Dark Elf laborer and kwama miner who can be found in Deepcrag Den. She'll explain what kwama are, as well as the situation happening inside the mine, to anyone interested enough to ask.

She will advise against going into the mine:

"I hope you're not headed for Deepcrag Den."

Why? What's going on?

"There's some kind of fumes leaking into the mine. They're making the kwama go crazy and become violent. It's a disaster!"

What's a kwama?

"Giant domesticated insects. Deepcrag is a kwama mine. We raise them and harvest their eggs.
They're usually as docile as cows, but those gas fumes have them so riled up they're downright bloodthirsty. I'm not going back in there!"
