Varo is an Imperial foot soldier encountered alongside Medallus and Gallinius in The Foundry of Woe. When attacked, he transforms into a hostile Dremora.

When you enter the room, the three will be speaking among each other.
- Gallinius: "Did you get all the pieces?"
- Medallus: "Yeah, I stashed them in the footlockers all around camp. I bet the commander makes her run fifty laps this time!"
- Varo: "Fifty? Let's hope the beast gets a lashing."
- Gallinius: "All right, let's get back to it. Act natural."
When he notices you, he says:
