Skills and Abilities[edit]
- Spewers have a similar social standing [to the Yaghra Strider] but exhibit more conservative ranged combat. They seem to call out targets for Striders to focus on and are intent on creating dangerous areas for their enemies to avoid. — Prima guide description[1]:220
- Chop
- The Spewer hits you with its clawed arms, dealing minor physical damage.
- Streaking Swipe
- The Spewer slashes and pinches targets within melee range, dealing physical damage. This can be blocked or avoided.
- Deluge
- The spewer aims its head upward and spits several times until it runs out of fluid or is interrupted. The escretions land randomly around the battlefield, inflicting ticking damage upon those who step in the AoEs. These AoE filth bubbles burst after a few seconds, dealing major damage to nearby players. Entering the AoE's radius before it bursts will force the bubble to explode early. If the Spewer is interrupted before it finishes spitting, you can minimize the amount of bubbles it places around the arena, or keep them from appearing entirely.
- Luminescent Mark
- After filling its back sac, the Spewer spits at a target, covering them in filth and marking the afflicted as a prime target for other enemies in addition to applying minor damage over time. The Spewer is propelled backwards slightly when the attack is launched. If you've been marked, you will be targeted by the Yaghra Strider's Frenzy ability, and the larva's Spiked Missile ability. Avoid being covered in goo to prevent the Spewer from marking you.
- Purge
- The Spewer fills its fluid sac with a quick inhale, then forcefully blasts it at a single target. This should be avoided.
Unique[edit]
- Churug of the Abyss, a spewer boss which can appear at Abyssal Geysers
- Verdrangu, found in K'Tora's mindscape
