Hamvirs Rest

Hamvir's Rest is a small outdoor graveyard and Nordic ruin northwest of Whiterun containing skeletons and a draugr.

Walkthrough

The graveyard is just north of Dustman's Cairn. Three skeletons patrol the area, and a draugr sleeps in the upright sarcophagus. A master-locked chest is beside the sarcophagus, with a random enchanted helmet behind the grates to its left. Eight nightshade plants, two purple mountain flowers, and two lavender plants grow among the tombstones and in the immediate area.

This is the final destination of the Headless Horseman on his nightly travels; once he reaches this area, he will disappear regardless of the time of day.

• An iron ore vein is west-southwest of the ruin.
