Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Speak to Master Bel-Betu in Sehutu about work and make Vildaryn Terano go away.
  2. Speak to Vildaryn Terano at the entrance to Sehutu and either:
    • Kill him.
    • Give him the Sehutu Labyrinth Pass Key.
    • Lie to him (requires 70+ disposition).
    • Threaten him (requires level 15+).
    • Persuade him to leave (requires 80+ disposition).
  3. Return to Master Bel-Betu.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Master Bel-Betu tires of the efforts of a sorcerer who wishes to speak to him. The Dark Elf, Vildaryn Terano, has made many failed attempts to navigate Bel-Betu's labyrinth. Bel-Betu therefore wishes for you to make Vildaryn Terano go away. He'll give you a key to bypass the labyrinth - the Sehutu Labyrinth Pass Key - and instruct you to get rid of Vildaryn in any way you please.

Return to the exterior of Sehutu cave to find Vildaryn, and talk to him about make Vildaryn Terano go away. He will respond:

"I'm Vildaryn Terano, and I'm not going anywhere until I've spoken with Master Bel-Betu."

If you have 70+ disposition with him, you can lie here, choosing "[Lie] Master Bel-Betu isn't here." to make Vildaryn leave. Alternatively, any choice other than "Nevermind." will open more options. These include threatening his life if he doesn't depart, which will only succeed if your level is higher than 15. Another option is persuading him that he isn't wanted, requiring 80+ disposition, and a final one is giving him the Sehutu Labyrinth Pass Key, allowing him to confront Bel-Betu, if not for very long. Choosing this final option will negatively affect Bel-Betu's opinion of you, but there is no other penalty.

Whatever you choose, return to Bel-Betu to complete the quest.
