Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Felmo Ilveroth.
2. Journey to Ebonheart on Vvardenfell to 'deliver a plea' to Duke Vedam Dren (or Caros Cocceius in Old Ebonheart's Ebon Tower if Dren is dead).
3. Speak to Lalatia Varian in the chapel of Castle Ebonheart (the building on the westernmost side)
   • You will be asked to fulfill errands for Kaye (Missing Limeware) and Iulus Truptor (Alms from the Skyrim Mission), who are both in the Ebonheart chapel, before Lalatia will consider your request.
4. Speak to Lalatia once the errands have been completed, and return to Duke Vedam Dren/Caros Cocceius.
5. Assuming Duke Dren is alive, he will instruct you to speak to Caros Cocceius at this point.
6. Return to Felmo Ilveroth for your reward.

Notes

• Being acclaimed as the Nerevarine will mean Duke Dren immediately approves your request, without the need to go to Lalatia.
• Being in House Hlaalu will also make Duke Dren approve your request without having to go to Lalatia.

10		Felmo Ilveroth asked me to deliver a plea to Duke Vedam Dren.
15		Felmo Ilveroth asked me to deliver a plea to Duke Dren. He was shocked to hear about the Duke's death, but told me to deliver the plea to the Burgrave Caros Cocceius instead.
20		I delivered Ilveroth's plea to Duke Vedam Dren. The Duke told me he would consider the request, but only after I talk to the Imperial Cult leader in Castle Ebonheart.
25		I talked to the Cult leadership in Castle Ebonheart, and they directed me back to Duke Dren.
50		Duke Dren tasked me with sending his acceptance of Felmo Ilveroth's plea to his Burgrave Caros Cocceius in the Ebon Tower.
55		I delivered the message to Vedam Dren, but he asked me to talk to the Burgrave in the Ebon Tower instead.
400		I delivered Ilveroth's message to Vedam Dren. In recognition of my position as Nerevarine he promised his support. Truly, sometimes the sword is mightier than the pen.
405		I delivered Ilveroth's message to Caros Cocceius, who claimed he would take the matter under consideration.
500	Finishes quest	I have reported back to Felmo Ilveroth. He was pleased by my prompt delivery.
800	Finishes quest	With both Duke Vedram Dren and Burgrave Caros Cocceius dead, Felmo Ilveroth gave up on his idea of performing the Mystery Play.
