The shrine to the Battle of Bodrum

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to any Temple Master, e.g. Nalvs Andolin in the Andothren temple.
  2. Bring an Iron Spear to the Shrine of the Battle of Bodrum, on the bridge over the River Pryai, west of Bodrum.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

The details of this pilgrimage may be received from Nalvs Andolin, at the top of the Andothren temple, who will note that an iron spear is usually given at the shrine. By far the longest walk of the three pilgrimages, you are advised to obtain one from the city's traders before setting out.

(Instead of walking, you can also reach Bodrum via silt strider, using the connection from Andothren to Omaynis, and then from Omaynis to Bodrum.)

The shrine itself is on the high bridge over the river gorge, which can be reached by following the road running southeast out of the Bodrum settlement. Activating the shrine with an iron spear in your inventory will invite you to leave the spear as an offering. Doing so confers the shrine's blessing:

"Here the forces led by Lord Vicec were victorious over the armies of Reman III. The raging waters of Pryai River washed away the taint of Cyrodiil, impaling them on a net of spears. You are blessed with the power of those old days of glory."

This completes the quest.

The blessing gives Fortify Spear 10pts, Slowfall 10pts, and Water Walking.

Notes[edit]

  • The events that the shrine speaks of are supported by presence of bones in the river downstream, some still wearing Reman-era armour.
