Hissmir is an ancient Argonian ruin located in southern Shadowfen, southwest of the Hatching Pools. Modern-day Argonians have settled along the xanmeer, which they regard as a sacred place. There, ancient trials are celebrated to allow natives and outsiders alike to commune with the Hist through the consumption of hist sap. Additionally, both the Mages and Fighters Guild have set up camp on the northwest corner of the xanmeer.
Far-Walker the traveling merchant wanders the road between here and the Hatching Pools.

Wayshrine[edit]
Hissmir Wayshrine is located east of Hissmir, off the road. The Fen-Stewards's Stop guild kiosk run by Talen-Dum can be found just to the northwest of the Wayshrine, on the roadside.
