Sword and Board I: (WITH ONE HAND WEAPON AND SHIELD EQUIPPED) Increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 3% and the amount of damage you can block by 10%.

Sword and Board II: (WITH ONE HAND WEAPON AND SHIELD EQUIPPED) Increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 5% and the amount of damage you can block by 20%.

Sword and Board increase your weapon damage and reduces the damage you receive while blocking. Note that while you must have a Shield equipped to receive these bonuses, your weapon does not need to be a sword (despite the name) - any one-handed weapon will work.
